Symphonic Roof Drain Cleaning – 

Objective:

To clean and ensure full operational performance of the symphonic roof drainage system, preventing blockages and water ponding on roof surfaces.

Scope of Works

Access all symphonic rainwater outlets across the roof.Clean and descale all connected pipework (primary and secondary) to restore design flow rate.Remove debris, silt, and organic waste from outlets and gutters.Confirm all outlets are free-flowing and properly sealed after completion.

Methodology

Preparation
Establish safe access to the roof via ladder, scaffold, or roof access hatch.Set up barriers and warning signage.Inspect the roof area for fragile surfaces and identify symphonic outlet locations.Cleaning Process
Remove grilles/covers from symphonic outlets carefully.Use high-pressure water jetting (HPWJ) or Picote rotary descaling tools to clean internal pipework.Vacuum extract debris and standing water using wet vacuum or mini jet vac.Flush each outlet and downpipe section to confirm clear flow to the main system.If multiple downpipes connect to a manifold, check and clean the manifold chamber.Inspection
Conduct CCTV inspection (if required) to verify internal condition of symphonic pipework.Record footage for client review if defects or obstructions are present.Completion
Refit all outlet covers securely.Remove all debris from site and dispose of in accordance with waste regulations.Complete service sheet and photographic record of works.
